William Hughey grew up in Tennessee until his Father William Samuel Hughey's death. His Mother moved him at the age of 12 to Joliet Illinois. He grew up is a hostile environment of religious treachery because of his own sexuality he learned" by seeing his defenses through the eyes of his enemy he became his own guardian.
